On battlesthatknock.com, a battle is a community event where artists are challenged to create their best work, following the battle's rules.

1. Create a beat according to the rules of the battle.
2. Once submission period ends, contestants (and the public) vote for their three favorite entries of all the submissions.
3. If a contestant does not vote during the voting period, they are disqualified.
4. DECAP plays entries on his scheduled Twitch stream, announces the winner, and gives away prizes.

Once a battle is in voting phase, you can vote for the entries you like the best by pressing the checkmark next to the track.
Voting is not allowed during the entry phase, but you are encouraged to click the heart icon next to the entry to bookmark for when it's time to vote.
Note: battlesthatknock.com prevents contestants from voting for their own entries.
